 WEEK 10 (TRANSPLANTING,REAPPLY NPK AND TAGGING )

ACTIVITIES

  After 1 week of  Gawai Celebration, we are back on campus and continue our work in this week. We starting with doing an observation at our planting bed and see that our plant are getting growth and there had some water lock at the drainage around of my planting bed but I already fix it by using the hoe. After that, by using  the balance of the seeds water spinach (Ipomoea aquatic) that has been germinate, we transplant it on the share farm bed planting. That we make to take care together with our batch.

In the next day, we are continue our work with reapply npk green since I've seen that some of my plant are still had some deficiency like some of the leaves are turning yellow. We use to reapply the npk one times in two weeks. After that, we are starting doing the tagging on our planting bed. It function to let the others know about the plants that we growth and also know the scientific name of the plant and the date that the plant has been transplanting.


 

CHALLENGES

For this week,there had a few challenges which is the drainage are having the water lock, so we need to fix it to make sure there doesn't had any water lock after this even it was a heavy rainy day.

COSTING

We are spending a few of amount to pay the worker during the Gawai break for watering our plants everyday twice .

REFLECTION

 In this week, I've learning about the function of the tagging and also able to identify the deficiency on my plant.
